An in house maintenance team, with dedicated email/phone and experienced contractors, assures their tenants that they are confidently being looked after.

Unreliable and inconsiderate from the word go just about sums up this letting agency. Over the summer before we had even moved in the house got broke into because it wasn't secured properly, tenants belongings were stolen and kingstons couldn't have cared. Problems with the boiler lasted well into December, hot water issues in winter isn't acceptable. The maintenance team took ages to sort out faulty or damaged items in the house. Don't even get me started on the rent for the place, twice in one term at university they accused us of not paying rent and were threatening extra charges. The bank cleared his up for us and it turns out the account set up with kingstons was wrongly named by themselves. Moving out was a nightmare too they are trying to charge us for damages to the house that were noted with in the inventory when we had moved in & it has now been two months since we left and handed back the keys and filled out a dispute form yet they still have our deposits! Go elsewhere!!

Appalling customer service. The house was disgusting when we arrived. The work they said they would do (because they raised the rent by £25 between agreeing to rent the property and signing the contract) either did not happen or was done to an unacceptable standard.
we had to go 6 weeks without a shower, had 3 months unable to use the garden because of an overflowing drain they did not fix, and came home or woke up to random men in my house on 4 separate occasions "looking at the property for Kingstons". The front door was also not attached to the wall for a good 4 or 5 weeks, and was fixed with bath sealant... unsurprisingly within a few weeks, we could see daylight around the doorframe again. The "lock" on the front door did not lock, and in 12 months was never replaced by one that worked.
I have not received the bond back yet, after 4 months of battling with them. They are now no longer picking up the phone or responding to emails.
DO NOT use this agency. Not once did I feel safe in my own home, we received the property in a disgusting state, and they find every opportunity to steal your money.

Genuinely awful. They will try to screw you over at every opportunity. We were charged £240 for cleaning despite it being cleaner then when we arrived. Getting the bond back was a torturous affair with them not replying to emails, general lack of communication etc. The house didn't meet fire regulations when we moved in and took weeks to get fixed. Throughout our tenancy, they never corrected any of the other issues raised in the inventory. I would advise any tenants to avoid, Kingstons Residential will waste your time and money.
