Having read the previous reviews, I must have called at a bad time. It was a Saturday morning at 9.15am, the place was empty, the staff lounging on the comfortable settee. The table was covered in sticky ring marks, the menu was dirty and sticky, with crumbs on the surface. The floor needed a brushing. The small cappuccino priced at £2.50, was weak, and bore no resemblance to properly made cup of coffee. The white sugar bowl was empty.
Perhaps I called in after busy period for the weekend staff, but compared to other small coffee establishments, it was a disappointment. The decor deserved a much better service.
