My son, working down in Cardiff, last year. brought me back the best laverbread I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. It was so fresh and so lovely and It came from Ashtons. being born and brought up in South Wales and moving to the Midlands many moons ago. It was lovely to have a taste of Wales again . have tried lots of laverbreads from different fishmongers, but I conclude that Ashtons is the very best.
