Visited F.A.Jones for the first time as my father (a loyal customer) told me to go there as I was having my living room, master bedroom and garden fence improved before my holidays start. I normally go to the normal large chain shops but found them impersonal and not knowledgeable to the styles and ambiance I wanted to create. I’ve seen some styles in magazine and on the internet but I can never seem to transfer these ideas to my own home. This is where F.A.Jones and more importantly Brian comes to the fore with over 45 years of experience in the industry. Now there’s a guy who knows his stuff. With one of the largest array of wallpapers I have ever seen, looking at the thousands of colours and styles seemed daunting at first but with the help of the trained and experienced staff, we quickly narrowed down what I was looking for. Within a few short minutes, I was looking at samples that were carefully displayed on one of the display stands. Now that’s something you don’t often see anymore :). I choose a subtle gold flower pattern for the living room and a feature wall for the bedroom and they look amazing, with friends commentating on whether I had hired an interior designer.
From a simple photograph I showed them on my iPhone, the fence also looks almost new with F.A.Jones selecting the right product to revitalise my garden. It looks reborn.
As a busy parent and my husband working all sorts of shift patterns to make ends meet, we really needed to find a place where we can get all our home/garden decorating supplies. With friendly staff and great prices, F.A.Jones certainly ticks all the boxes. They say your parents know best and in this instance they were spot on. I will definitely be using F.A.Jones again and hope that this company can thrive again and reach its heyday which my father remembers. You must go and check this place out.
