This letting agency is absolutely horrendous! Do not go with them!Terrible organisation and hideous customer service! In November 2013, I signed a tenancy agreement to live in a student house with 4 other friends, starting in September 2014 for the following academic year. However, in February I withdrew from the university so obviously didn't want to be part of the contract any more. I found someone else to live in the house, they paid their deposit, I paid the £60 to change over the contracts and everything was signed. I packed up my stuff and went home, thinking it would all be sorted and the £350 deposit I had initially put down would be back in my bank account within a few weeks. It's now the beginning of June and there has been no sign of my money! The landlord is an absolute joke - he has been asked for weeks to come in and sign the new lease and return my money but hasn't shown up. Last week he finally came to sign it and returned the deposit - to the wrong person!!! Now I have to wait another week or more until this is sorted! Who knows when I will see my money! Do not go with this shambolic letting agency if you are a student - look elsewhere. They'll suck you in to part with your money in a heartbeat, and will cling on to it and refuse to give it back to you even if it's yours to be returned to. I would NEVER recommend this agency to anyone!
