Cardiff is my hometown. Visiting the City for the boxing, tried to go into this pub on Sunday evening at 7.00. We were told the pub was full and the policy was one in one out. That is fair enough, however, the over officious door staff informed us we were not allowed to wait under the awning in the pouring rain. We had to waif beyond a red rope exposed to the awful weather. Friends had entered just before us, because we refused to stand in the rain, we are in our late fifties, the door staff admitted two people who arrived after us. What a welcome to a self proclaimed capital city, Power hungry over officious door staff the bane of a civilized society.
