My 6 year old monitor stopped working .It was suggested by a couple of people to change the fuse ....the fuse was o.k. I saw Tourotech in Wyndham cresc, this morning, by chance, as I was passing through Canton and the chap who owns it encouraged me to bring the monitor to his shop and he could check it. . So early this afternoon ,I popped my monitor onto the counter to be checked and` Hey presto!` less than a minute later the monitlor worked! Davey suggested that I may need a new power cable . I bought one from him for £5 and plugged it in my monitor when I arrived home with the new cable and it works.. Many Thanks,Davey.
