Our visit to the Red Dragon Ctr in Cardiff yesterday was spoilt by the disgraceful service we received at the Food area at Hollywood Bowl. We decided to take the family for a game of bowling, have some food and visit the amusement arcade for our daughter's 7th birthday. The Bowling was ok (apart from the fact the balls kept getting stuck along the side of the alley) and the amusement ctr was fun but the food..... Firstly, we waited for about 5 minutes to get served as there were no staff available at the counter. We then ordered food for a family of 5 with extras and asked for jug of squash. We couldnt pay as the card reader was out of service, so we went and withdrew some cash. We returned, paid and sat down to wait for half an hour for our food to arrive. We hadnt received the jug of squash, so i went to the kitchen to ask for it (as again there was nobody at the counter!), they said they would go and get it for us - they were stood around chatting in the kitchen. I had to then ask again for it 5 minutes later as we still hadnt recieved it and it then arrived!! There was a long table in front of the counter which had previously had a childrens party on it - this remained dirty for the whole duration of our visit along with all of the other tables that were waiting to be cleared... What a very shameful eaterie!!!!
