Good friendly service lots of fabric to choose from would use them again well made curtains professionally done. Couldn't fault nothing excellent

Moving house.Wanted 2 identical sets of ready made curtains,only one pair in stock, as discontinued. Ben checked with alternative suppliers for a second set.Rang me within half an hour,both pairs in store to collect within 48 hours.A deposit was paid.Brilliant service .Would highly recommend.

Purchased curtains and cushion covers today. Customer service was fantastic and the lady in the shop was very helpful. Not everything I wanted was in stock but are being delivered to me. Will definitely be returning .

What can I say? My experience from start to finish was great. I was served by Debby who gave me great advice on curtains and blinds and is a lovely lady. The curtains I picked were stunning and were adjusted by the seamstress perfectly. I would definitely recommend Bernsteins and I would shop there again.

What a fantastic service from a small but very well stocked shop.
The displays were quite varied, and the quality of goods is excellent.
The staff were very very helpful, and could not do any more to advise you
they were not pushy and only asked you if they could see you needed help.
You would be hard pressed to get the quality of goods or to get anyone to give you as much help and assistance as the staff here.
Joan, Nicola and Bev were all very friendly, made you feel appreciated,
and that they were pleased to see you, as was the owner Ben.
I would certainly recommend them to anyone, from our experience.

I purchased two pairs of ready made curtains and found them to be of very high quality. A very well laid out display making it easy to compare different material and patterns. The man who served me was very polite and helpful.

Very helpful and enthusiastic (Debbie helped a ditherer!) Ordered Saturday, curtain pole man rang that afternoon and came and did the work on Tuesday morning - hanging the curtains as well and giving me a lift back to work! Thank you so much. Have already recommended to others - this personal service beats big stores - support small businesses!

Lovely clean shop, staff were friendly, especially the blonde lady she went out of her way to make sure i had everything i wanted, she couldn't do enough for me and she really made me welcome. Pity there isn't alot like her. Will definately be going back.

We had been looking for curtains for our Sun Room for ages! Living in rural Carmarthen meant that we had looked in all of the well known curtain shops around us, to no avail!
One Sunday, we took a trip to Cardiff and found Berstein's in Mary Street and it was open! A lovely lady called Debby was an enormous help to us, giving us a range of ideas and colours. She helped us to open our minds to finding the right material and pattern.
On arriving home, we went back to basics and thought about her valuable advice. Another trip to Cardiff, allowed us to take samples of material in the form of cushion covers. The enabled us to match a sample to our existing furniture/colours. We were then able to order our choice with any measurments by 'phone. The order was ready very quickly and exact to measurement. We are thrilled with our curtains and cushions and can't thank Debby, Mr. Berstein and any staff who also served us, enough! This shop certainly knows its stuff. It also provides a high standard of customer care and satisfaction, rarely seen in other high street chains!

What fantastic service!! nothing was to much trouble, reminded me a bit of the old David Morgan Store that was,you just don't get this type of service anymore. A pleasure to shop here. Look forward to shopping in your new bedding department.

Great choice and wide selection of ready made curtains. Helpful. friendly staff and best if all good prices. Shame they don`t have branches in Bath as nice as Cardiff is, it's not always practical to get there.

I have just discovered this little gem of a shop,and will certainly be shopping here again.The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable without being intrusive.
This is what shopping used to be like,with staff who offer advise and know their products and genuinely seem to care.
Forget the large superstores where you have to struggle to find what you want ,and look for an assistant to answer your question and who either can't be bothered or don't know.
Please support these specialist shops as they have so much choice and are to be treasured.
